Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
Not for quotes. We request six facts: gender, birth year, your health rating, tobacco use, coverage amount, and years of coverage you want. That is sufficient for carriers to provide pricing. Full details are only required if you proceed to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
Those are quotes each carrier extends based on the health level you selected. Your actual premium gets set by the carrier after they underwrite your application, which may improve, maintain, or adjust your class. This website presents estimates for information; they are not guarantees or contractual offers.
What happens when I click Apply?
Your name is entered, and we build an application from the exact quote you selected and submit it through the carriers' secure system. You can stop, save, and return later. When ready, you electronically sign. Susman Insurance Agency, License 0B75129, oversees the process.
Will I need a medical exam?
Depends on your carrier choice, the coverage amount you selected, and your health answers. Modern term carriers often skip exams for eligible applicants using accelerated approval. Your quote will specify whether an exam is required, optional, or not requested for that specific product.
Is a longer term better?
Pick your term based on what needs protecting. A 15-year term covers school for young kids; 30 years covers a long mortgage. Longer periods mean higher monthly cost but lock in your rate. The tool lets you compare all options--10, 15, 20, 25, 30 years--at once.
Does this site sell my information?
We do not. The quote form never collects contact information. We do not sell your data, share it with third parties, or use tracking cookies. Measurement is cookieless, and visitors with Do Not Track enabled are not measured at all.
